This is easily one of the best tutorials I've seen on Deviantart. It was explanatory as well as funny. I'm definitely going to have to recommend this to my other editing friends. The great part is it works on a big picture too not just the one eye. I was able to do this with two different eye colors as well. I believe I will be doing this much more often. It's much better work than the eyes that I've been doing or even the tutorial I myself created. So I definitely have to give this artist my standing approval. Congrats to this amazing artist! Too all my watchers, those that do lineart, I say give this one a try!
not exactly, when i used the super nova in the layer above the eye layer (the one with color...) the eye looks all white, and when i multiply it theres no change. Like if the only yhink i did was create a new layer where the eye is white.
I had it as Reflection for the top, then the lineart, then Supernova, and then the eye coloring <8[ I kinda gave up on it for now though cuz I like how the eye is as is <XP But I was just curious if I missed or overlooked something. Your tutorial is wonderful! I'm just a brain-ditz and miss stuff alot
Originally I thought paths would be difficult and unnecessary to use, but after playing with it a bit I realize it's actually much easier than trying to freehand it. I can get to the "grow" step, but after that, my fill tool won't work -- on ANY of my layers. Are there some other settings I'm supposed to change? I think I'm also using 2.6, by the way. Thank you so much for making these...
